   Adobe just did a software update on my computer. As soon as that happened, Flash Player is no longer working. It just show's the black screen with the sad face and message saying that Flash Player plugin has crashed. I have a Mac, OS X, version 10.6.8. I am working in Firefox, version 28. And I have Flash Player version 13.0.0 on my computer.

   Yesterday (2/10/09), after installing all of the new Windows updates at Microsoft's website, Flash Player 10 was suddenly working again at ALL the sites where it was failing previously (Weekly ads at BestBuy.com, Target.com, Kmart.com; various pages/videos at Rifftrax.com, and MySpace.com; etc., etc.).

There is a certain way to insure a successful Uninstall and Install of Flash Player, I think in your case it just wasn't done correctly.
