Indianola is a city in Warren County, Iowa, United States, located 14 miles (23 km) south of downtown Des Moines. The population was 15,833 at the time of the 2020 census . [ 4 ] It is the county seat of Warren County . [ 5 ]

The Warren County Administration Building, formerly Indianola High School, is located in Indianola, Iowa, United States. The first high school in town was designed by the Des Moines architectural firm of Proudfoot & Bird. It was completed in 1904 and an annex was added in 1917 because of increased enrollment.

The Elks-Rogers Hotel, also known as Park Hotel of Clear Lake, was a resort hotel in Clear Lake, Iowa built in 1901. It was "a classic piece of late Victorian architecture often found in the trans-Mississippi West." It had brick walls (made of soft brick of the area), fan windows, and a large porch with Doric columns. [2]
