Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA was founded in 2021 by brothers George and Frank Hickman after they left their coaching positions at Tiger Muay Thai. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] Both of them competed in collegiate wrestling at Bloomsburg University before they eventually ended up in the MMA world.

[1] The gym includes several former and reigning UFC and ONE Championship champions, including Demetrious Johnson, Rafael Dos Anjos, Shinya Aoki, Angela Lee, Marcus Almeida and more, on its roster.
Nontachai started Muay Thai training at the age of 9 and immediately competed to provide financial help to his family. He joined the Sit O camp in the city of Buriram a few years later. [3] After his retirement Nontachai became a trainer at the Sit-O camp he then joined Tiger Muay Thai where he coached and competed on the Phuket scene. [4]
