Canada Christian College traces its origins to Richmond College, which was founded in September 1967 as a Christian liberal arts college by Elmer McVety (1928–1993), Canadian evangelist John Wesley White (1928–2016) who served as chancellor, and his brother, Hugh White, who served as the first dean.
