It was founded on July 22, 2004, by Philippine Multimedia Systems, Inc. (PMSI), current operator of Dream Satellite TV and by-then sister company of ABC-5 (PMSI and ABC-5 are owned by Antonio "Tonyboy" Cojuangco, Jr.). It was closed on August 18, 2008, 9 days after ABC-5's rebrand to TV5 and due to the channel's pullout from Dish Network.
On May 9, 2022, the show was pre-empted to give way for the TV5's Bilang Pilipino 2022 coverage on the 2022 Philippine general election. On June 20, 2022, the show began broadcasting worldwide via ABS-CBN's 24-hour international television network, The Filipino Channel. On September 12 to 16, 2022, this show had a 5-night special.
