Kenmore East is located in the Town of Tonawanda, New York, a suburb of Buffalo. It is one of three high schools within the Ken-Ton School District. Mr. Trevor Brown is the current Principal, while Joseph Greco and Angela Carriero are Assistant Principals, and Nathan Bourke is the schools Athletics Coordinator.
The school opened in the fall of 1940 with fifty faculty members and 1,250 pupils. In 1959, Kenmore East High School was opened as the district continued to grow. At that time, the Highland Parkway school officially became Kenmore West High School. Raymond Stewart Frazier (1901–1998) was appointed of principal of Kenmore West in 1952. [2]
