Miffy the Movie (Dutch: Nijntje de film) is a 2013 Dutch stop motion [2] animated family film, based on the Miffy character created by Dick Bruna. Produced by KRO [3] and A. Film A/S, [4] the movie debuted on 30 January 2013 in the Netherlands. [5] The series is animated in the style of Miffy and Friends, the first television adaptation of Miffy.

Jeff Smith , author of the Bone comics, stated in a 2003 interview that Nickelodeon had insisted on the Bone cousins being voiced by child actors and wanted the film's soundtrack to include pop songs by the likes of N'Sync .
