A variant name of Maysville was Kochs. [1] A post office called Koch's was established in 1855, the name was changed to Koch in 1893, and the post office closed in 1907. [2] Besides the post office, Maysville had the Maysville Tile Works. [3]
Maysville was originally platted in Allen County, although it now reaches into Hardin County. [2] The post office operated there under the name Hog Creek. [ 3 ] This post office was established in 1841, and remained in operation until 1878.
US 62 in Martinsburg. US 62 enters Ohio from Kentucky, crossing the Ohio River via the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge at Aberdeen. The highway is immediately concurrent with US 52. 2.4 miles (3.9 km) later, the highway gains an additional concurrency with US 68, which crosses the river via the William H. Harsha Bridge.
