The 2006–2018 FIFA men's ranking system was a calculation technique previously used by FIFA for ranking men's national teams in football. The ranking system was introduced by FIFA after the 2006 FIFA World Cup , as an update to an earlier system , and was replaced after the 2018 World Cup with a revised Elo-based system .

Tunisia's FIFA rankings have ranged from 65 in July 2010, to 14 in April 2018. The Tunisian national team has always been one of the best African teams, especially thanks to its good results in the Africa Cup of Nations (3rd place in the 1962 edition, second place in the 1965 and 1996 editions and the champion in the 2004 edition).
