Gadis (stylized in all caps since 1991; Girl) was an Indonesian weekly magazine for teenage girls. It was first published in 1973 by Femina Group. Femina was established in 1972, [1] and the first issue was published in September 1972. The cover of the first issue was shot in the garage of Svida Alisjahbana, whose father was the magazine's photographer.
