Chinchilla is a heavy metal band from Germany.The group was founded by guitarist Udo Gerstenmeyer in 1988, and released an EP entitled No Mercy in 1990. [1] This incarnation of the band broke up just after the release of the album, but Gerstenmeyer reformed the band in 1994 and recorded a second EP.
In the United States the album was released on 25 June 2002 and named as Play. In 2002, the group released the second single, "Cinderella". Play toured in the United States in the coming months, opening for Aaron Carter and Destiny's Child. While touring in the USA, the group often partnered with the groups clothing chain Limited Too.
