Jincheon Nongdari Bridge is South Korea's oldest stone bridge. [1] Located in Jincheon County , North Chungcheong Province , this 93-meter long and 3.6-6m wide bridge was built over Sesecheon Stream on the orders of General Lim during the time of the Goryeo dynasty (918-1392).
The World Cup Bridge (Korean: 월드컵대교) is a bridge over the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. It connects Mapo District and Yeongdeungpo District . Construction on the bridge began in March 2010 and was originally slated to be completed by August 2015, [ 1 ] but budget cuts slowed its pace. [ 2 ]
The bridge will connect Cheongna International City in Seo District, Incheon and Jung District, Incheon on Yeongjongdo providing a third link to Incheon International Airport. In addition to a six-lane highway, pedestrian and cycle lanes will be installed, together with an observatory on one of the bridge's 180m towers.
The suicide rate is very high in South Korea and bridge jumping is common. Mapo Bridge has a reputation of jumpers with over 100 attempts between 2007 and 2012. [3]On July 26, 2013, Sung Jae-ki jumped off Mapo Bridge in an attempt to draw attention to gender inequality against men and a plea to accrue needed funds for "Men of Korea".

From 2004 until 2008, Malaysia's trade with South Korea increased by 6.7% from US$9.7 billion in 2004 to US$15.4 billion. In 2012, another 287 projects have been implemented with an investment of RM7.7 billion. [2] The trade value reached almost US$20 billion in 2018, making Malaysia as the South Korea's 14th largest business partner. [3]
