The Brave New World Tour by Iron Maiden began on 2 June 2000 and ended on 19 January 2001 (Three concerts shows scheduled at Brixton Academy in 2002). It supported their 2000 album Brave New World that marked the return of vocalist Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith. In Europe, the tour was called Metal 2000.
Both Dickinson and Smith returned to the band for the recording of Brave New World, the first Iron Maiden album produced by Kevin Shirley (alongside Harris), which was released in 2000 and spawned two UK top-20 singles in the form of "The Wicker Man" and "Out of the Silent Planet". [4]
