The Mackinac Island Water Treatment Plant is located east of Mission Point and Robinson's Folly on the shoreline. It supplies potable water to nearly everyone on the Island. It is on former Mackinac Island State Park property deeded to the City of Mackinac Island, and was built in 1985/1986.
