Early plans for the city's southwest ring road called for Sarcee Trail to continue south from Glenmore, connecting eventually with Alberta Highway 22X .
Deerfoot Trail (Alberta Highway 2). A major north-south freeway in eastern Calgary that forms of key segment of Highway 2, the provinces main north south highway and a part of the CANAMEX Corridor.
