Writer can already place a visible (not printable) grid on a page with View > Grid & Helplines > Display grid. A screenshot of this page could be used as a background for the page. The grid is quite faint, it can be made darker in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Application colours > * Text Document > Grid by choosing black.
There cannot be a template for “any graph paper” as long as not the universe of graph papers is clearly defined and restricted. If someone created something in the field, it had to come as a wizard rather than as a template. Think of the chart wizard to understand what I mean.

When I go to sheet- show grid, it only prints the cells and gridlines with things written in it. I want the whole paper to be gridlines though. And if this is not possible how do I insert a table and get it to print empty of any data inside? I am trying to print the gridlines on a spreadsheet, but I do not know how to do it. Help
