Jacob C. White Jr. (1837 – November 11, 1902) was an American educator, intellectual, and civil rights activist. Born to a successful and influential businessman, White received the finest education afforded to African-Americans of the time and became intertwined in the dealings of Philadelphia's most prominent black leaders.
William Clarence "Willie" White (29 August, 1854 – 1 September, 1937), (often referred to as W. C. White) was a son of Ellen G. White and James Springer White, two of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He became a well-known Seventh-day Adventist minister and church leader.

His son Charles J. White took over his medical practice in 1914, [1] and became Edivard Wigylesicorth Professor of Dermatology at Harvard and chair of the Harvard dermatology department. His grandson, James Clarke White, was also a professor at Harvard Medical School. [6] He died at his home in Boston on January 6, 1916. [4] [1] [7]
