Another point I would want to add is that perhaps it's best to go by the official name with an emoji that has so many variants on what it's called (take this Vice article for example (also recent, having been written in 2021), which calls it the "cry-laughing emoji", while also referring to it by the official "Face with Tears of joy" emoji ...
