The Permanent General Mission of Palestine in Tokyo (Arabic: سفارة دولة فلسطين لدى اليابان; Japanese: 駐日パレスチナ常駐総代表部) is the de facto embassy of Palestine in Japan. There is no official diplomatic relations between the two nations as Japan doesn't recognize Palestine as a sovereign state.
See Israel–Japan relations. The Japanese government refrained from appointing a Minister Plenipotentiary to Israel until 1955. Relations between the two states were distant at first, but after 1958, as demand no break occurred. This had been at the same time that OPEC had imposed an oil embargo against several countries, including Japan.

[3] [4] Arafat paid additional four visits to Japan between 1996 and 2000. [5] Japanese Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama also paid a visit, the first of its kind, to the Palestinian Authority in 1995.
