Today's counties of Kenya are based on the merging of some of the districts on this list and since the divisions are one level under the districts they are now the sub-counties. This is because Kenya recently changed its constitution and 47 Counties emerged. Here are the divisions listed below, by district (before the change in administration):

Nandi County is a county in Kenya in the North Rift, occupying an area of 2,884.4 square kilometres. Its capital, Kapsabet, is the largest town in the county while other towns include Mosoriot, Tinderet, Kobujoi, Kaiboi, Kabiyet and Nandi Hills.

Currently for Kenya, ISO 3166-2 codes are defined for 47 counties.
Nandi District was an administrative district in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. Its capital town was Kapsabet. [1] Following the transfer of some of territory from Uganda to British East Africa, Nandi District was a subdivision of Kisumu Province. In 1929, it was when it was transferred to the newly-created Nzoia Province.
