Manzanillo (Spanish pronunciation: [mansaˈniʝo]) is a city and seat of Manzanillo Municipality, in the Mexican state of Colima. The city, located on the Pacific Ocean , contains Mexico 's busiest port , responsible for handling Pacific cargo for the Mexico City area.
It manages domestic and international air traffic for the state of Colima and southern Jalisco, serving as an international gateway to the Mexican tourist destination of Manzanillo. Costalegre ("Coast of Joy" in Spanish) is a series of different beaches, capes and bays of various sizes distributed alongside the Pacific Ocean on the western coastline of the Mexican state of Jalisco, between Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and Manzanillo, Colima.
It ends at the small town of Manzanillo, which likewise forms a salient almost completely encircled by the refuge.
