John James Sykes (born 29 July 1959) is an English guitarist, best known as a member of Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy and Tygers of Pan Tang.He has also fronted the hard rock group Blue Murder and released several solo albums.
With a black and white label the catalogue covered the WI series numbers from 401 to 471. From 1970 to 1971 Trojan /B&C Records used the label for records within a BW series. Island reactivated the label in 1976/1977 within the WIP series and with a small series of 12" singles in a BS series.
