Mayhem performing live in 2012. Mayhem is a Norwegian black metal band from Oslo. Formed in 1984, the group originally featured guitarist Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth (originally known as "Destructor"), bassist and vocalist [1] Jørn "Necrobutcher" Stubberud and drummer Kjetil Manheim.
