There are many hill stations in Pakistan, [1] where there is snow in the winter. In the summer, the temperatures are much cooler than the hot areas of Punjab and Sindh. People from all over the country flock to these hill stations to enjoy the snow in winters, and to enjoy the cool summers away from the hot plains.
The Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) is a non governmental sports organisation for the promotion of mountaineering, climbing and other mountain-related adventure activities in Pakistan. In addition to this, the club serves as the national sports governing body for the sport of mountaineering and climbing in Pakistan.

Fairy Meadows (Urdu: فیری میڈوز), named by German climbers (German Märchenwiese, "fairy tale meadows") [1] [2] and locally known as Joot, [3] is an area of grassland near one of the base camp sites of Nanga Parbat, located in Diamer District in Gilgit-Baltistan region in Pakistan. [4]
The National Park is the most accessible in Pakistan due to its close proximity to the national capital, Islamabad. It is a significant hub for bird lovers throughout the year. There are several hiking trails (Trail 1, Trail 2, Trail 3, Trail 4, Trail 5, Trail 6, Trail 7 (Shah Allah Dittah)), with the most frequented being Trail 3 and Trail 5. [16]
Deosai National Park is an alpine plateau with an altitude between 3,500 to 5,200 m (11,500 to 17,100 ft). The landscape is mostly flat with rolling hills. Due to its location at the meeting of the Himalayan and Karakorum-Pamir ecoregions, the area is rich in biodiversity.
Ayubia National Park was established in 1984 in an east corner of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.In 1998 it was expanded form its original size of 1,684 hectares (4,161 acres) [6] or 16.84 km 2 (6.50 sq mi) to 3,312 hectares (8,184 acres).
