The Spanish football champions are the winners of the primary football competition in Spain, La Liga. The league is contested on a round robin basis and the championship awarded to the team that is top of the league at the end of the season. La Liga, first established in 1929, originally contained ten teams.
The Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Primera División, [a] commonly known as the Primera División [b] or La Liga [c] [2] and officially known as LaLiga EA Sports [d] [3] since 2023 because of sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional football division of the Spanish football league system.
This is a list of all matches contested between the Spanish football clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid, a fixture known as El Clásico. The club name in bold indicates a win for that team. The score is given at full-time and half-time (in brackets), and in the goals columns, the goalscorer and time when goal was scored is noted.
The matches will be played on 17–19 September (exclusive week), [note 1] 1–2 October, 22–23 October, 5–6 November, 26–27 November, 10–11 December 2024, 21–22 January and 29 January 2025. All matches will be played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, except for the competition's exclusive week, which also includes Thursday fixtures.
