Cookie Run: Kingdom is an action role-playing gacha game by Devsisters and the sixth game in the Cookie Run series. It was announced on November 28, 2020, and released worldwide on January 19, 2021, on Android and iOS. On July 12, 2023, it was released on Google Play Games on PC.
Cookie Run (Korean: 쿠키런; RR: Kukileon, stylized in CamelCase) is a series of online mobile endless running games developed by Devsisters.Inspired by the classic folk tale The Gingerbread Man, the series is set in a world of conscious gingerbread cookies that were brought to life in an oven by a witch and have since escaped her evil clutches.
By April 14, 2017, Devsisters had got their first non-cookie-based hit released by the name of Tape It Up! On January 21, 2021, they also released the RPG city-simulator project by the name of Cookie Run: Kingdom. This latest entry is a spinoff to the main series, which is also the most successful.
In the CD Projekt Red company update in June 2014, GOG.com announced that it would be bringing a Steam-like client, GOG Galaxy, to Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. Kingdom is presented to the player in a pixel art, two-dimensional screen, with the goal to build up and create a kingdom while surviving various foes that will attempt to capture the player-character's crown, effectively ending their rule. The player starts the game with a randomly generated king or queen on horseback.
After fortifying the windows from a zombie group and waiting upstairs, mother and son decide to scavenge their house and their neighborhood for supplies and something to open their locked back door. After finding a lockpick, they met their neighbor Mary, whose parents left to find supplies (They can give her some water in exchange for some seeds).
A desktop version of the game was published by Sega on macOS, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems in November 2016. The game has received regular updates and patches, including downloadable content on the PC versions, since release. The latest iteration of the game on the PC version was released on 1 November 2017. [1]
