Gemina (July 16, 1986 – January 9, 2008) (pronounced Jeh-MEE-nah) [1] was a 12-foot-tall (3.7 m) Baringo giraffe [2] who lived in the Santa Barbara Zoo in Santa Barbara, California. National Zoological Gardens of Sri Lanka (also called Dehiwala Zoo or Colombo Zoo) is a zoological garden in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka, founded in 1936. It is home to various birds, mammals, reptiles, fish and amphibians. The zoo not only exhibits animals from Sri Lanka, but also from across Asia and other parts of the globe.
