Written for the soundtrack of the 1998 film City of Angels, it was included on the sixth Goo Goo Dolls album, Dizzy Up the Girl, and released as a single on April 1, 1998. On November 5, 2019, Bushiroad announced that the franchise will have both anime series scheduled for Spring 2020, and a rhythm mobile game for early spring 2021 release.
