Waqt (translation: Time) is a 1965 Indian Hindi-language Bollywood masala film directed by Yash Chopra, produced by B. R. Chopra and written by Akhtar Mirza and Akhtar-Ul-Iman. It was included in the British Film Institute 's long list of films in consideration for its top ten of Indian films award.
This list of films produced in 1965 by the Bollywood film industry based in Mumbai includes both notable, and non-notable films. At the 13th National Film Awards , the award for First, Second and Third Best Feature Film in Hindi went to Shaheed , Oonche Log and Guide respectively.

Hamraaz (transl. Confidant) is a 1967 Indian Bollywood suspense thriller film, produced and directed by B. R. Chopra and written by Akhtar-Ul-Iman.It stars Raaj Kumar, Sunil Dutt, Vimi, Mumtaz in lead roles, with Balraj Sahni, Madan Puri, Jeevan, Iftekhar, Sarika in other important roles.
Balraj Sahni (born Yudhishthir Sahni; 1 May 1913 – 13 April 1973) was an Indian film and stage actor, who is best known for Dharti Ke Lal (1946), Do Bigha Zameen (1953), Chhoti Bahen (1959), Kabuliwala (1961), Waqt (1965) and Garm Hava (1973). He was the brother of Bhisham Sahni, noted Hindi writer, playwright, and actor. [1]
In 1965, he directed the drama Waqt about a family who are separated due to a natural disaster. A commercial success, [4] it was one of the earliest Indian films to star an ensemble cast and won a first Best Director trophy for him at the Filmfare Awards. [5]
