Open Pediment This image features an open pediment where the usual strong horizontal line (at the bottom) of the pediment is incomplete and filled by an emblem. Broken Pediment The frontispiece of the Cathedral of Almería features a broken pediment where the top of the usual triangular outline is broken by an emblem of a double headed eagle.
An illustration of the primitive hut by Charles Dominique Eisen was the frontispiece for the second edition of Laugier's Essay on Architecture (1755). The frontispiece was arguably one of the most famous images in the history of architecture; it helped to make the essay more accessible and consequently it was more widely received by the public.
A monument defining the official art of its epoque, the Porte Saint-Denis provided the subject of the engraved frontispiece to Blondel's influential Cours d'architecture, 1698. [1] It was restored in 1988. The Porte Saint-Denis was the first of four triumphal arches to be built in Paris.

[1] One of the rooms leads to a chamber, and from there, a spiral staircase descends to the ground. The gate's frontispiece is tall and adorned with two large floral patterns on each side. [5]
The California Tower is 198 feet (60 m) tall and is open for public tours as of January 1, 2015. [ 10 ] [ 11 ] The tower's design is Spanish while the details and color are Mexican in style. The tower is composed of three tiers that shift from a quadrangle to an octagon and then a circle. [ 12 ]

The construction of the church began in 1773, possibly with royal grants given the presence of the coat-of-arms located on the frontispiece. [2] A votive offering was already occurring at the site by 1774. [2] Work on the sanctuary continued the rest of this centre, with decoration and public artwork installed in the retable and chancel.
