Saint James Court is a historic apartment complex located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1919, and consists of two 3 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, Renaissance Revival style buildings. The buildings are faced in thick stucco and feature terra cotta panels with bas relief decoration. [2]: 2–3
The Joel W. Solomon Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse was constructed in 1932–1933 as the U.S. Post Office and Courthouse. Designed jointly by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon and Reuben Harrison Hunt (1862–1937), [3] it was Hunt's last major work, coming at the end of a career that spanned more than five decades.
The first courthouse was built in 1823 in the Clifty community of Henry County, south of Paris. The structure was built with poplar logs in a dogtrot configuration. The Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions was held in the north room while a member of the chamber of commerce sold pies and liquor in the south room. [1] [5]

Miller's traced its history to the New York Racket Store, established in 1889 at 510 Market Street in Chattanooga by brothers Gus and Frank Miller. After a fire destroyed the Richardson Building in 1897, the brothers built a new store at Seventh and Market Streets that was known as Miller Brothers Department Store. [1]
