It serves as a sequel for Dune (2021), both adapted from Frank Herbert's 1965 novel Dune. It follows Paul Atreides as he unites with the Fremen people of the desert planet Arrakis to wage war against House Harkonnen.
The 2021 Dune film adaptation, directed by Denis Villeneuve, covers just part (part!) of the very first (just the first!) novel. And Dune: Part Two still may not complete the entire book.
