Calamity’s mod configuration settings allows you to artificially increase boss health. Health does scale in multiplayer, but it is so insignificant that it really doesn't matter.

After you beat your first Mech Boss, Mythril and Orichalcum will appear. second Mech Boss gives you Adamantite and Titanium. And the third Mech Boss gives you Hallowed Ore, which is a new thing Calamity has. To compensate, the first Mech Boss you fight will have 20% less max life and damage, and the second will have 10% less max life and damage.
