Not everyone knows how to pop into task manager, restart windows explorer, and logout and back in. Yes, it's frustrating, because it's been happening in Win 11 releases since the pre-release beta in October.

In other threads with similar questions, the answer has been to select the option "Auto-hide the task bar in desktop mode." This is NOT the fix I am looking for, as that only shrinks the taskbar, and lets you recall it by scrolling to the bottom of the screen. Same issue, updated recently to 23H2 and now I cannot type in the Search box in the start menu or task bar. Have tried restarting Windows Search, running the ctfmon program, changing menu alignment, etc. Nothing has fixed this. Real pain and wasting a LOT of time now trying to find things in the meu where I could normally just type...
