    I have a quicken file with two dozen accounts, including two Fidelity NetBenefits 403b/401a accounts from Fidelity NetBenefits/401k.com. Recently when I updated the accounts, these two fidelity accounts' balances changed to $0, which is incorrect. Details: Market value shows $0 in the ledger and top right of the account window.

    Using Quicken Deluxe Window 10 Home, my Fidelity NetBenefits 401K accounts are both showing a "cash balance" that equals the balance - effectively showing me a doubled account balance. Is there a way to fix/adjust this? I can't see how to delete or 0 out the cash balance.

    Hi again @Klancey7, Okay, the fix for your original problem is fairly easy. Simply open up the account register for the 401k plan, then "right-click" on the first entry dated 10/16/2022 - which has "Xln" in the "Action" column - and select "Delete".

    Recently, my 401k account was moved to Fidelity by my previous employer. So when I log on to my Fidelity account, my previous accounts and my 401k accounts all show up. But when I try to add the 401k account through Quicken, my Fidelity login credentials do not show the 401k account as available.

    Seems I am late to the issue described above. I am experiencing the same issues! This is (fortunately) only messing up my NetBenefits 401k account and not the associated brokeragelink or brokerage account. With the NetBenefits account, upon updating transactions, I find duplicate security entries that have a 2 at the end of the description.

    When with a prior employer, I set up a 401k account in QW as Account Type = Checking (yes, I know now this was not appropriate). It is a 401k account with Fidelity NetBenefits. This Q account contains over 300 entries that came from years of 2x month repeating paychecks. These entries end in 2014 when employment stopped.

    Fidelity Netbenefits 401K transaction downloads all "Unidentified Security". This issue is a bug that has been reported to our Development and Product teams for further investigation and resolution. Though we do not currently have an ETA, once a solution is created it will be made available as part of a future release. (CTP-7302)

    My Fidelity NetBenefits accounts continue to show a balance of exactly twice what they should. These are Direct Connect using Simple Tracking Only. I edit the account and Set the Cash Value to 0 to temporarily resolve the problem.

    For Fidelity NetBenefits accounts - In Account Settings for the Quicken account, on the Downloads tab, it is Recommended that . The Financial Institution is: Fidelity NetBenefits and not some variation on the name. The Connection Type is: Direct Connect. Quicken often defaults to type Quicken Connect, which can trigger the problems described.
