Arrowhead Towne Center, often referred to by locals as Arrowhead Mall, [2] is a super-regional shopping mall located in Glendale, Arizona (west suburban Phoenix). The mall is owned by Macerich & GIC Private Limited. The mall features Macy's, Dillard's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods in addition to a 14-screen AMC Theatres, and Round 1.
Harkins Theatres is privately owned and operated by its parent company, Harkins Enterprises, LLC. The company operates 35 theaters with 487 screens throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, and Oklahoma. In November 2001, the mall was renamed Phoenix Spectrum Mall, [4] and Grossman Company Properties began a $10 million renovation project. The mall changed its focus to discount stores, starting with the demolition of The Broadway and replacement by Walmart (originally built as a discount store, later expanded into a Supercenter) in 1994.
