Imaginaerum is the seventh studio album by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish.It was released on 30 November 2011 by Scene Nation Oy and Sony Music in Finland, then on 2 December in Nuclear Blast in the rest of Europe and Roadrunner Records worldwide. [1]

Endless Forms Most Beautiful was primarily inspired by the work of naturalist Charles Darwin. According to songwriter Tuomas Holopainen, the album's title is drawn from the last paragraph of Darwin's 1859 book On the Origin of Species which included the words "endless forms most beautiful" to describe evolution from one common ancestor to all living organisms: [8] [9]
The Imaginaerum World Tour was a concert tour by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, in support of their seventh studio album, Imaginaerum. [1]The tour started in Los Angeles, USA, on January 21, 2012, [2] and then the band played an arena tour in Europe between March and May, [3] and the group has also performed in North and Latin America later that year.
Later that same year, the band's 1998 album Oceanborn was reissued with the song added to the track listing, and it has been on every edition of the album since. In 2004, it was included on Nightwish's first compilation album Tales from the Elvenpath , and in 2005, a re-recorded version was released to promote Highest Hopes: The Best of ...
A promo version of the track was leaked to the Internet on 11 July 2007. The full single was released on 15 February 2008 in three versions, CD , DVD and 12 inch . It includes a remix of the song by DJ Orkidea as well as a demo version of "The Poet and the Pendulum" and Dark Passion Play' s Japanese bonus track "Escapist".
Oceanborn is the second studio album by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. It was released in Finland by Spinefarm Records on 7 December 1998 [ 7 ] and in the spring of 1999 worldwide. [ 8 ] It was released by Drakkar Entertainment in the rest of Europe, and by Toy's Factory in Japan.
