"See The USA In Your Chevrolet" is a commercial jingle from c. 1949, with lyrics and music by Leo Corday [1] and Leon Carr [2] of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
The song combines country and hip-hop elements, [1] opening with acoustic guitar strums and audio samples of people talking in a bar. Dustin Lynch recounts a romantic encounter in the opening verse and sings in the melody of "Drift Away" during the chorus, [2] in which he describes his ideal environment to spend time with a "country girl": a six-pack, some Brooks & Dunn and a Chevrolet.
The song was also covered by gothic country band Murder by Death in their holiday album Lonesome Holiday. The indie rock band the Walkmen performed a version of the song in November 2010 for The A.V.
