Mozuku asks Kawaki to take the medicine back to his nation before dying. Shikadai and Boruto hold off more pursuers, allowing Kawaki to deliver the medicine to Aosa. Kiseru begins seeing clearly again and reveals his mission. Believing the clues the ANBU received from a previous agent, who went missing, Kiseru realizes the whole ordeal is a genjutsu, so he stabs Boruto and uses healing ninjutsu, to wake him up from it. Shikamaru reveals that Sasuke returned in critical condition and that he still doesn't trust Kawaki. However, Kawaki's arm reactivates, showing that Naruto is still alive and uses his Karma together with Boruto's to create a portal to Kara's dimension. Team 7 enters the portal while Kawaki reassures Shikamaru before entering as well.
