Just a recent development. I found out you could find the app on the new computer by going into the Microsoft Store, click the top right three-dot menu button, then click My Library. See if The Weather Channel pops up, I just found it on my end. Let me know the results, good luck.

Weather Channel Desktop App will not load or only loads sometimes. Weather Channel Desktop App load when 1st downloaded, but will not load. Tried using compatibility setting 4 Windows XP (Service Pack 2 & the w/ 3) no luck System I am running is Windows 7 (64 bit) If I redownload it works fine 4 about a week and then I have the same problems.
