The Wellington School (simply referred to as Wellington) is a PK–12 private, co-educational, college-preparatory school in Upper Arlington, Ohio, United States. It was established in 1982 by Ken Ackerman, Harry K. Gard, Bob Holland, Len Immke, George Minot, Dave Swaddling, Dave Thomas , Jack Ruscilli, and Jeff Wilkins.

School districts may combine resources to form a fourth type of school district, the joint vocational school district, which focuses on a technical based curriculum. [1] There are currently 611 individual school districts in Ohio.
Upper Arlington High School is the sole high school in the Upper Arlington City School District in Upper Arlington, Ohio, a northwest suburb of Columbus, Ohio. It receives students from Jones Middle School and Hastings Middle School. The current principal of the high school is Mr. Andrew Theado. The mascot is a golden bear.
This is noted by a plaque near the Arlington Avenue side of the site. The neo-classical school building was designed by Ohio Stadium architect Howard Dwight Smith and completed in 1924. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] It served as the first permanent school in Upper Arlington, serving grades 1–6; grades 7-12 were added to the building following its 1926 expansion.
