Four Bridgeton Police Department officers pursuing Fuqua in an alley around South and Fremont avenues around 4 p.m., after witnessing an alleged drug transaction. Fuqua was armed with a loaded .38-caliber revolver. One of the officers fired his weapon, striking Fuqua twice. Fuqua died as he was being transported to the hospital.
