Iz*One's official fanbase, Wiz*One, began an initiative called Parallel Universe on April 21, 2021, in an attempt to prevent the group's upcoming disbandment. The name "Parallel Universe" was chosen to pay homage to a song of the same name that was released during the One, the Story concert.
Dayton was a post-disco funk band, formed in Dayton, Ohio by Chris Jones (trumpet, keyboards, vocals) from the band Sun and Shawn Sandridge (guitar, vocals) from Over Night Low. Derrick Armstrong (vocals), Kevin Hurt ( drums , percussion ), Jenny Douglas (vocals) and Rachel Beavers (vocals) completed the line up.

From June 7, 2019, to September 25, 2019, Iz*One headlined their only Asia tour, Iz*One 1st Concert "Eyes On Me", with 11 shows in 5 countries, drawing a total audience of 81,000. On September 13, 2020, the group held their first online concert, "Oneiric Theater", as in-person concerts were not possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
As of May 2021, Iz*One has sold over 2.79 million combined albums. The duodecet 's debut release, the Color*Iz EP, was released on October 29, 2018. The Korean release was followed with the group's Japanese debut single, " Suki to Iwasetai ", released on February 6, 2019, under UMG 's EMI Records label.
