Click the Windows logo on the taskbar then type mmsys.cpl then click the search result. Under playback, double-click your current audio device (the one with a green check on it) to open its properties. On its properties, the equalizer should be under enhancements. Let me know about the update after you checked this.
Based on a clue from the ASUS forums, I went to the programs menu and found the Realtek Audio Console. Under "Playback Devices" on the left, I see "Speakers". I click on it and- voila'!-. Right under "Sound Effects" is a lovely, working, 10-band equalizer. There's also a Loudness setting further below, so that I get a bass boost at low volumes.
Right click Speaker icon > Sound settings > More sound settings > Playback tab > Right click your device > Properties. Depending on your device your can find Spatial sound, etc. and with Speakers sound controls you may find an Enhancements tab for Bass boast, Virtual Sound, Room Correction. etc.
Windows do not have a sound equalizer it depends on the driver that came with the motherboard. In the case that the driver does not have this option, as it happens with you, you can try third-party applications for this:
Press “Windows key + X”. Select “Device manager” from the list. Now go to the “Sound, video and game controllers” section. Here, you should search for “Realtek High Definition Audio” under the list of audio device drivers. Right click and select “Disable”. Right click again and this time click on “Update driver software”.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Sound, Video and Game Controller. Write down name and complete model of sound device there - full decription - now double. click on it - driver tab - write down driver version. Then click UPdate Driver (this may not. do anything as MS is far behind certifying drivers).
I keep reading about how to find the Equalizer option in Windows 10. I've even watched videos. But the option for Equalizer does not exist in my system. The only options I have in my Speakers Properties under the Enhancement tab are Bass Boost, Virtual Surround, Room Correction, and Loudness Equalization. And Loudness Equalization is not a ...
In there you get a menu with the choice to select audio devices - I only have my speakers so I clicked on them, then on 'properties' in the lower right of this window. I then went to the tab in the new window labeled 'Enhancements', where there is a little scroll menu. One is labelled 'Equalizer'. Click on this and below some options come up ...
Right-click an open space in the Player (to the left of the Stop button, for example), point to Enhancements, and then click Graphic equalizer. 3. Click the Turn on link, if visible, and then do one of the following: • Select an option, such as rock or jazz, from the Default list. • Create your own setting by moving the equalizer sliders to ...
Click on the "Sound Effects" tab. Right beside the equalizer you will see a box that you will have to highlight with your mouse. When highlighted, it will give you the option to "Change To Graphic EQ." Click on that button to activate the Realtek Equalizer for the device.
