MALMO, Sweden (Reuters) -Switzerland on Saturday won Eurovision 2024 in Swedish host city Malmo, beating runner-up Croatia, after having been among bookmakers' top-three to win the competition.
ESCZ 2024 was the sixth edition of ESCZ, the national final organised by ČT in order to select its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.The competition consisted of a live final held in Prague on 4 December 2023 followed by a voting round lasting until 11 December 2023.
Fifteen songs were selected to compete in the national final, which consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final. In the semi-final on 3 February 2024, ten entries were selected to advance to compete in the final on 10 February 2024 where a public televote and an eight-member jury panel selected "Hollow" performed by Dons as the winner.
