Ibstock School is a coeducational secondary school located in Ibstock in the English county of Leicestershire. [1]Previously a community middle school administered by Leicestershire County Council, [2] in September 2012 Ibstock School (previously Ibstock Community College until 2024) converted to academy status.
In recent years, Leicestershire County Council took over clay workings and coal pits in the Sence Valley between Ravenstone, Ibstock and Heather and later transferred them to the Forestry Commission, which reclaimed the area as the Sence Valley Forest Park.
