Eastern Market is a commercial district in Detroit, Michigan. It is located approximately one mile (1.6 km) northeast of the city's downtown and is bordered on the south by Gratiot Avenue , the north by Mack Avenue, the east by St. Aubin Street, and the west by Interstate 75 (I-75, Chrysler Freeway).
Northland Center was an enclosed shopping mall on an approximately 159-acre (64 ha) site located near the intersection of M-10 (the John C. Lodge Freeway) and Greenfield Road in Southfield, Michigan, an inner-ring suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. Construction began in 1952 and the mall opened on March 22, 1954.
The Edward E. The Mall at Partridge Creek is an open-air shopping center in Clinton Township, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. The mall opened to the public on October 18, 2007. The mall features the large-scale traditional retailer L.L.Bean in addition to a Cooper's Hawk, Brio Tuscan Grille, P. F. Chang's, and a large 14-screen MJR Theatres.
The shopping center would have been Michigan's first shopping center constructed on 8 Mile and Kelly Road but the idea was scrapped. The mall was developed in 1957 by Hudson's, a Detroit-based department store chain (and corporate predecessor of Target Corp) that also developed Northland Center, another Detroit area mall.
Westborn Market is primarily a fruit market, but also features large selections of beverages and wine, a full-service deli, and many specialty grocery items as well. All four Westborn locations also feature an extensive floral market. Westborn Market was founded by George Anusbigian in Dearborn, MI, in 1963.
