I think that stating that a white tiger simply has orange genes that are "switched off" is more accurate than simply stating that a white gene is non-exsistant. It is my knowledge that this is true and far more informative as far as biology and genetics goes. Perhaps a link to the page on genes in animals would be a nice addition as well.
