Johnny Yesno: The Original Soundtrack from the Motion Picture is an album by industrial band Cabaret Voltaire. It was made as a soundtrack to Peter Care 's film of the same title, which in turn led to Peter Care directing the video for Cabaret Voltaire's hit song "Sensoria".
"Johnny, Johnny" is a 1985 song recorded by the French singer Jeanne Mas. It was her second single from her debut album, Jeanne Mas , on which it features as the second track. Released in February 1985, the song became a hit in France, topping the singles chart for about one month.
The song is the anthem of a Greek university student partisan unit named Lord Byron that fought in the lines of the Greek People's Liberation Army ELAS during Dekemvriana. The song was written during Dekemvriana and was recorded at 1972 with other Greek partisans songs and shares the same melody with "Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye".
