Winthorpe is a small coastal village in the civil parish of Skegness, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) north from Skegness. Winthorpe was both an ancient parish, and a civil parish, until 1 April 1926 when it was abolished.

Seathorne is a small coastal village in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) north from Skegness, and directly west of Winthorpe. [1] The area was developed in 1925, with the development of the Seathorne Estate. [2] By 1931, the town's population had reached 9,122. [3]

The town is approximately 22 miles (35 km) north-east of Boston and 43 miles (69 km) east of Lincoln. [3] [4] Skegness fronts the North Sea. It is located on a low-lying flat region called Lincoln Marsh, which runs along the coast between Skegness and the Humber and separates the coast from the upland Wolds. [5]
Skegness itself lies at the eastern end of the A158 to Lincoln. The coast is served by the Grimsby branch of the Sheffield to Lincoln line, the Cleethorpes-Barton line, and the Grantham to Skegness line. There are railway stations at Barrow, Barton, Boston, Cleethorpes, Grimsby (docks and town), New Holland and Skegness.
Hogsthorpe is a small village in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 2 miles (3 km) from the North Sea and Chapel St Leonards, and about 7 miles (11 km) north from Skegness. The A52 road runs through Hogsthorpe, connecting the village to the nearby resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Ingoldmells.
